Terms of service
The terms for using the Library and buying courses.
Who we are
The Chronix Health Library is run by Chronix Health Group Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Companies House number 16663224). Chronix Health Group Ltd is the trading party for Care Vault, Care World and the Library. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Chronix Health Group Ltd.
What the Library is
The Chronix Health Library is an online learning platform. It offers short courses and gives you a certificate of completion when you finish one. It is not accredited. A certificate of completion is not a regulated qualification, it is not an accreditation, and it is not clinical training.
What your certificate means
A certificate of completion shows that you finished a course and passed its assessment. It is proof that you completed the learning. It is not proof of competence, and it does not qualify you to do a job or a task.
Your workplace’s own policies always come first, together with current guidance from the NHS, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Where your employer, a product label, or official guidance says something different from a course, follow that.
Your account
You sign in to the Library with your Chronix Health account (single sign-on). You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe. Please do not let anyone else use your account.
Acceptable use
Please use the Library fairly and lawfully. Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, and do not use it to harm others.
Prices and payment
Course prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and vary by course — you’ll see the exact price at checkout before you pay. We do not charge VAT, because Chronix Health Group Ltd is not currently registered for VAT. You pay once for a course. Payments are handled securely by Stripe — we never see your card details.
Who owns the course content
The course content belongs to Chronix Health Group Ltd. When you buy or enrol in a course, we give you a licence to use it for your own personal learning only. Please do not copy, share, sell or otherwise redistribute the course content. Your certificate of completion belongs to you.
Refunds
You have a 14-day right to cancel, which ends once you open a paid module or once a certificate is issued. Our Refund policy explains this in full.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the Library running and the courses useful and accurate. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud — the law does not let us limit those, and nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.
For other losses connected to the courses, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question. We are not responsible for how you apply what you learn — please follow your workplace’s policies and current official guidance, as set out above.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change that affects your rights, we will email registered users and post a notice on the Library before it takes effect. If you keep using the Library after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales. For any questions, email support@careworld.app.
