Safeguarding Adults: Basics
An introduction to safeguarding adults for people who work in care — what abuse and neglect are, the six safeguarding principles, how to spot possible signs, putting the person first, and how to raise a concern. Based on the Care Act 2014, the Care and support statutory guidance, and advice from the NHS, NICE and Skills for Care. Seven short modules and a certificate assessment. This is completion of learning and gives a certificate of completion. It is NOT regulated or statutory safeguarding training, and it does not replace the safeguarding training your workplace must give you.
